Founded in 1877 in the aftermath of the Commune, « La maison du Peuple de la Bellevilloise, » the first Parisian cooperative, was designed to give people of modest means access to political and cultural education. A place of resistance and avant-garde, independent, and multidisciplinary, La Bellevilloise devotes most of its space to all cultural and artistic expression forms.
Loft of Bellevilloise
The Bellevilloise loft, where we’ll be dancing, is a vast, light-filled space with 5-meter high ceilings and plenty of natural light. It’s in art-deco style and boasts a magnificent parquet floor.
